Manufacture low volume series
Our production capacity has been conceived to adapt to your needs, seeking the greatest flexibility and efficiency. We can help you in your low volume series in a totally revolutionary way since our service is totally scalable. Únic Works’ specialist technicians study your project to ensure that you achieve the best ratio for the cost of the part and its amortisation.
Additive manufacturing (3D printing)
Get low volume or very low volume series quickly, without mould amortisation or geometric restrictions. We work with the appropriate Rapid Manufacturing technologies to achieve strong parts. These are: FDM, SLS, SLM, EBM and MJF.
Materialize pre-series machined with the material planned for the final production with an exceptional quality. This process allows you to obtain 100% mechanically and aesthetically functional parts without depending on tools or costly manufacturing processes. You can also work with a wide range of materials and finishes, a great alternative in series of 2 to 60 pieces.
Obtain small series from 200 to 3,000 pieces by the conventional thermoplastic injection process, but with a low cost mould. The final result of the injected parts is nothing to envy of more expensive moulds. The only difference is the optimisation carried out according to the planned rate when designing the mould. This results in very low amortisation.
Vacuum casting PU
Manufacture series from 10 to 100 pieces with thermosetting resins that simulate characteristics of some thermoplastics. We can get parts with high performance characteristics that can be obtained for any purpose. Furthermore, applying textures or overmolding various materials is truly economical thanks to the use of silicone moulds.
Vacuum Casting PA
Obtain parts made of nylon with or without fibre reinforcement by vacuum casting. This process is ideal for small productions from 30 to 300 pieces to be made in PA6. It is a low cost process as the mold is very economical.
Produce metal parts by sand casting, lost wax mould or 3D master processes. We use these two craft methods to adapt to your needs. In addition, machined finishes can also be made on parts. Depending on the characteristics of the project, we adapt to the technical, aesthetic or economic demand.
Get a low volume series of parts made of composite materials. We use different technologies, out of autoclave, to materialize this kind of projects. We have composite infusion resin for low volume series of between 1 and 100 pieces. For series between 20 and 3,000 pieces we use RTM. In addition, we have our own finishing techniques to guarantee the highest quality in the pieces made of composite.
Multiple solutions in one place.
Low volume series production will depend on the amount of parts that the industry uses to do. Alternatives to conventional mass production processes are usually used. In the case of conventional thermoplastic injection, to avoid the amortization of the prepared mould for a high production volume, some of the alternatives are prototype moulding, PU casting, machining and 3D printing. Depending on the geometry, the material, the finish, the quantity of parts, the project deadline or the budget, one process or another is chosen. There is no such thing as a good process or a bad process, there is the one that best suits your needs.
